Opera Bug #165690

Dynamically re-written content wrongly hidden

Fixed in Opera 9.0 Beta 1

Elements with the style property overflow:auto; and fixed widths and/or heights gain scrollbars when their content overflows its borders. In Opera, if such an element is populated so scrollbars appear, when the user scrolls down halfway and then the content is truncated, the remaining content is hidden

Above is a
element styled with overflow:auto; and given many more
elements than it can display. Scroll down to the middle of the list, then click to dynamically truncate the list to just the first three items. Opera will remove the scrollbars, but won't recenter the element on the remaining content.

Reload the page to reset this test case.
