Dec 2, 2005I have officially discontinued support for these scripts today. If you are still using an old version, I recommend you upgrade to the latest version; however, there will be no newer versions.
I came to this decision based upon a combination of the Secunia.com advisories, the age of the scripts, and the fact that there are so many more active projects out there which duplicate my efforts.
Eventually I will be moving my blog and forum to new formats; whether I create them or use existing software I have yet to determine.
This change allows me to fully focus on the Ringmaker and Search, which are my two most refined scripts. Lately I have been putting all of my focus into the search script since it has just been released, however I do have a lot in store for the Ringmaker, including vast improvements to performance and server resource usage.
Unfortunately, some of the larger Ringmaker installations have had to cancel their rings because of server stress and I aim to rectify this in future releases.
